
With the support of the Visegrad Fund www.visegradfund.org the National Commission of NSZZ “Solidarność” is conducting a project no. 22510194, entitled Strengthening trade union cooperation in the V4 region. The project is implemented with the support of three partners:

and Hungarian Trade Union Confederation https://www.maszsz.hu
The coordinator of the project is Mateusz Szymański, the Head of the International Department of the National Commission of NSZZ “Solidarność”.
The project has been awarded funding in the amount of € 26,450.00
It will be implemented from the beginning of June 2025 until the end of November.
Its main objective is to strengthen cooperation among trade union organizations in the Visegrad Group region in order to coordinate positions and improve understanding of common problems and challenges for pan-European debates. Trade union organizations in the region represented in a number of decision-making bodies and it is essential that trade union organizations in the V4 group cooperate.
The main output of the project will be a V4 Trade Union Group meeting held in Gdańsk, Poland between 8 and 10 October 2025. This high-level meeting will be dedicated to discussing issues of importance to the V4 group. The topics to be discussed include: collective bargaining in the region, competitiveness and deregulation policies, trade union perspective, reindustrialization in the V4 region, security policy. Summary of the debates and the policy recommendations will be formulated and distributed within the European Trade Union Confederation and the Workers’ Group in the European Economic and Social Committee.
At the moment we are in the preparation phase, before signing the contract.
