No to the cuts!

29 Sept. -  over 10 thousand members of NSZZ “Solidarnosc” protested against budget cuts, increase of VAT and freezing wages. “We want to live decently here and now” was one of the slogans displayed during the march. The rally was organised by “S” saying “No to the cuts! Yes to new jobs and economic growth!” as a part of the ETUC protest action. The unionists demanded safe employment, increase of the minimum wage, help for the working poor and right to family benefits. The petition addressed to the Prime Minister was handed to the employees of hic chancellery. The unionists also stressed the problems of the young workers and graduates on the labour market as well as the employees of the budget sector.
