3 Oct. – The management of the GM and workers representatives came to an agreement and signed “The Plan for the Future”. The agreement includes maintaining three-shifts work system until 2014, production capacity of 208 thousand cars a year and exclusive production of Astra IV model. According to the unionists the plan, which was also discussed on the GM workers’ forum (EEF GM), secures stability and opens opportunities for development of the plant in Gliwice.
